Member and some friends of the Youths 2gether Network converged at an informal gathering ground to celebrate the International Day against Homophobia.
The Y2N joins in solidarity LGBTI people, activists, members of other organisations and people generally who believe and share in the dream of ending HOMOPHOBIA and creating a just society where people are free to express themselves without any form of discrimination.
The Y2N uses this as an opportunity to request that all forms of government arms should ensure that people's rights are respected and recognised and not leaving LGBTI people out of this picture and also to inform them that sexual and reproductive rights are basic human rights that should be respected.
The short gathering ended with a short prayer for as many people that might have lost their lives due to homophobia and all forms of discrimination.
